ShopiCraft is a boutique Shopify consultancy based in Dublin, Ireland, and a Shopify Select Partner. ShopiCraft was founded in 2025 by Daniel Perera, after six years at Shopify. We build stores, migrate brands to Shopify, create custom apps and set up Shopify POS for brands at every stage, from first launch to international scale.

Dublin, Ireland
Before founding ShopiCraft in 2025, Daniel spent six years at Shopify, first in Customer Success and then as a Product Launch Specialist. Earlier in his career, he worked at Google and in the technology division at Goldman Sachs. He holds a BSc in Computer Science from Newcastle University and an MSc in Digital Marketing Strategy from Trinity College Dublin. He has extensive knowledge of Shopify and the ecosystem around it.
Lead Developer & Regional Partner Kazakhstan
Daulet leads our custom app and integration work. He has ten years of experience as a developer, including as a Software Developer at Statkraft, and co-built the ShopiCraft app with Daniel. The two met as Computer Science classmates at Newcastle University, and Daulet went on to an MSc in Information Engineering and Computer Science at Rhine-Waal University. Based in Almaty, he also runs ShopiCraft Kazakhstan.
Regional Partner, Moldova
Dumitru runs ShopiCraft Moldova, working with Moldovan merchants on Shopify store builds and local payments. A former professional footballer with Petrocub turned entrepreneur, he studied Business Administration in Verona, Italy.
What six years at Shopify brings
Our founder's six years at Shopify meant seeing how features are built and launched, and how merchants actually use them. That is why we know where the platform's limits are, and when a store needs custom work or nothing at all.
Who you work with
There are no account managers and no hand-offs: the person you meet on your first call is the person working on your project, from start to finish.
Daniel and Daulet designed, built and launched ShopiCraft AI Descriptions, a public app that writes product descriptions and SEO metadata. It has more than 3,000 installs, earned the Built for Shopify badge, and was featured in Shopify's Spotlight series. We still maintain it, and building to Shopify's own app standards shapes how we approach every client project.
ShopiCraft is independent: we are not part of Shopify, and we are not connected to Shopify's Craft theme.
