Challenge

ShopiCraft didn't begin as a consultancy — it began as a product. Merchants writing their own product descriptions and SEO metadata face a real, recurring problem: doing it well takes time, is often the first thing neglected as a store grows, and becomes even harder the moment a brand wants to sell in more than one language. After nearly six years at Shopify, our founder Daniel teamed up with his co-founder — a developer with over a decade of software experience — to solve this properly rather than superficially, designing, building, and shipping a public app on the Shopify App Store: an AI-powered tool that writes and improves product descriptions and generates SEO titles and meta descriptions in 20 languages, helping merchants produce compelling, conversion-focused content in a single click.

Result

The app went on to earn two of the strongest quality signals Shopify offers: a feature in Shopify's own Spotlight series, and the Built for Shopify badge — reserved for apps that meet Shopify's highest bar for design, performance, and merchant experience. It has since been installed by more than 4,000 merchants, with hundreds actively using it every month. Building to that bar, from the merchant-facing interface down to the technical foundations, is precisely the depth of platform knowledge we now bring to every client engagement. The agency grew directly out of that work: we understand Shopify not only as people who use it, but as people who have built on top of it, to Shopify's own standard.
